Home care in Milnrow
Visiting care and home care in Milnrow
Situated in the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, Milnrow has a fascinating history. We’ve been a fixture in the surrounding area for many years, but we decided it was time to get to know the area better. Offering both visiting and live-in care, Helping Hands are proud to enable people in and around Greater Manchester to live as independently as possible in the homes they love.
While we can’t claim a heritage as long or interesting as Milnrow’s, we have been providing exceptional support since 1989, so it’s no surprise we’re considered the UK’s most trusted home care company. Talk to us today to discover more about our home care services in Milnrow.

Branch Care Manager
I have worked in the health and social care sector since I was 18 years old, and I could not see myself doing anything else. I am passionate about delivering the highest quality person-centred care to our customers and mentoring carers throughout their care journey. I joined Helping Hands over five years ago because I shared their values and passion. When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my family and my two fur babies Alfie and Willow.

Other care we provide
High quality home care in Milnrow
We offer flexible home care that will be tailored to your needs. Our visiting care ensures that many of our customers benefit from a service that can be as infrequent or constant as you need. We keep you at the centre of your care at all times, enabling you to live comfortably at home for as long as you need us. We’ll help you to maintain standards in your home, keeping your surroundings clean and tidy.
24/7 live in care support
Live-in care is different. Having someone living in your home around the clock gives you an extra level of reassurance that will be appreciated by both you and your loved ones. We’ll follow your routine closely, making sure you remain in control of your life at all times. We’ll also promote your independence, giving you all the help and companionship you require. Our carers will get to know you and will quickly feel like a trusted friend.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Milnrow
Care agencies operate differently from private home care companies. For instance, agencies aren’t held up to scrutiny the way private companies like Helping Hands are and therefore have no incentive to maintain consistency. We’re a private home care company and always have been. We’re fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales, and we’re proud that we own and operate all of our 155 branches ourselves.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Milnrow
We look after our carers the way that we expect them to look after you. Because we only choose the very best people to work for us, we offer benefits such as higher than the industry average pay rates, a pension scheme, Blue Light card, and paid holidays. We also recognise people who go above and beyond via our ‘Moments of Kindness’ scheme. These are by no means standard in the care industry, but we feel that our hardworking, compassionate carers deserve all of this and more.
